Question of the Day for 2010
« on: January 20, 2010, 11:05:34 AM »
I hope it's ok if I start a new topic for this? Cant believe we havent had ONE question so far this year! Anyway...

Question for Wednesday, 20th January 2010

Last week there was an article saying that a "terminally ill patient is being sought to donate their body to be mummified as part of a documentary on the ancient Egyptian embalming process" for a British company. Would you donate your body for something like this?

one side i say, wooo cool! Your body gets embalmed and you'll be in a documentary which probebly alot of people get to watch.

On the otherside... ya dont know what they're gonna do specificly to ur body. And i would like to know what they do after the embalming process is done...grave? tumbe? partially creepy... and using real corpes in the first place...ieeek... how much of the process are they planning to show? the way the egyptians did the intentents?

Dont think i would

Errr... No. As i'd like to be cremated.

Do you know if they're gonna show the embalming process ? I hope not.

I'd do it, since I'm unable to donate organs or tissues after I die (cancer). At least I'd be doing something useful. There was an exhibit here on mummies and the mummification process that was absolutely fascinating.

Well, they could prop your case up in the living room. Save money on a pyramid too.

Question for Wednesday, 27th January 2010

Do you like to talk about the weather, or do you find people who do annoying?

I LOVE to talk about the weather, actually no - i love to MOAN and BITCH about the weather. Unless it's somewhere between 0 and 27°C and SUNNY, i'll probably find something to complain about. It's too gray, too cold, too warm, too rainy, there's too much snow... Although i normally dont mind cold temps as long as it's sunny, especially in autumn with changing colours and all :)

no one is ever satisfied with the weather, i like it hot but not when there isnt any air but id take it over being cold. cos i dont like it cold at all. i just wanna wrap up warm and sit near a fire or radiator. people do bitch about the weather far too much and when someone talks about weather it usually means they aint got much else to say

Only time I like to hear people talk about weather is during tornado season(April-August) and even then, only the TV meteorologists, because they're so INTENSE about it, they tell you all these little details that have nothing at all to do with the important info, such as when to run for the basement. They act like 13 year olds watching porn.
