Question for Friday, 5th February 2010

We're in the middle of carnival season over here in Germany, with the climax/highlight being the street parades next weekend. Do you celebrate carnival in your country? Do you dress up? What time of year do you have your carnival?

Some parts here celebrate it but thank God I don't live there cause I don't like it... Sure, the dressing up part is fun and the drinking is fun but the music is terrible and I despise drunk people...

Mardi Gras in New Orleans is about to start. Lots of fun, lots of really weird people.

Carnival (Rio) & Mardi Gras (New Orleans) are the same time.  Starting the Saturday prior to Fat Tuesday & Ash Wednesday.  The date changes every year.  I was supposed to go this year, but we didn't have the cash...  seems to be pretty common :P

Question for Monday, 22nd February 2010

Are you watching the Olympics? If yes, what sports do you watch and do you support a certain team or person? Do you check how many medals each nation wins, or do you not care at all?

I do. I like watching (sorry dont know the right english term) acrobatic ski, half pipe, nothing else especially... It depends if im interested or "bored now". I don't support especially someone... And i want to know how many medals we obtain. I don't care about other countries....   :P

Ok, it is not acrobatic ski, but ladie's aerial and men's aerial. I think it is my favourite moment in Olympic Winter Games. I was supposed to go to bed but there's gonna have men's aerial finale and i can't miss it.

Now, im watching the victory ceremony for women's ice hockey and Canada is the winner. Congratulations ! Hope its gonna be the same for men. Would be the revenge

Villages in South Italy near where my relatives live were hit by flooding and mud slides not too long ago, and this weekend there were people killed by storm 'Xynthia' here in Germany... Yeah im worried. It seems a little too much lately, but maybe that's just paranoia....
