I must say that all the big countries are playing like crap, with the exception of Germany. They were the only ones who played like a great football nation should, the rest was just uninspired.

What happened to all the great players? Each and everyone seemed to be unable to leave a mark on the first matches. I'm hoping that things will get better or this World Cup will be rather boring

Agree. Only one team has scored a lot. Everyone else seems to sleep. I hope it's gonna change.

I'm curious about the outsiders. Especially USA. Each time i hear about them in a world cup, each time they do an amazing job. Each time, i think they're gonna go far away in the competition Could they be World Champion ? That's possible. Everything is possible, even for my country.

USA? They will never win a major tournament. They did a good job against England tho.

I am rooting for all the underdogs who have to face a 'strong' football nation. Yesterday Ivory Coast against Portugal, I only saw the last ten minutes but man, I wished they would have scored. Same thing with Brasil - North Korea, I really didn't want Brasil to win. Because in the end, all the 'strong' countries could be future opponents for us....

Hats off for USA. They were losing (0-2) versus Slovenia and they came back.

i don't understand. French team refused to go to the training and pple from big authorities said it is unacceptable. I don't think it is. If they don't want, well. Why ? Because it was with an audience ? I don't understand. Any info ?

Italy-New Zealand : 1-1. No comment. In fact, just one : Well done All Whites !

Ivory Coast-Brasil : Each time, i see the flag of the Ivory Coast, i want to put my head upside down. Be careful about stiff neck ! But i don't see any of them in the stadium  ???

The French are being prima donna's. Anelka didn't like the fact that he was substituted during the match against Mexico and said some harsh things to the coach. During a practice on Sunday, the assistent coach got into a fight with another player and for some reason, Anelka has been sent home, or banned, as some newspapers like to call it. So now, the French team has threatened to boycot the next game because they don't like the way things are going. Honestly, I think they should save their energy for the game and play like they haven't played in a long time.

Apparently, they didn't hear you. It's better like this.

We are not sure he really said that, that was his own words. Everyone agreed he insulted the coach.

Do me a favor, everyone : Don't blame all the french team. There are some players who really love and appreciate playing at football and are not childish and react like spoiled rotten pple like some of them.

A majority of french are tiried of them. I think we are relieved they're leaving the competition. They must do a huge housework, not only with the players but also somewhere else in the highest authorities.
What happened since a few days was so unreal ! In fact, since they are in South Africa. So unusual ! I still don't understand why they were so on their own.

I can understand your reaction. Personnally, i think they shouldn't be allowed to have their bonus. But if they still have it, it's gonna be fury here. As it wasn't already the case...
