i know a couple and the reason is 3 things:
1. street barbeque
2. my parents talk to everyone easily and thus i get to know the names 2 and i helped some with pc stuff lol
3. there are a couple of old neighbours from our previous street so we've known them for a long time :P, the best one now lives next to us instead of 4 houses apart XD (was a 6 house street :P)

I only find my neighbours on the elevator and we make a short and simple conversation. I normally call it "elevator conversations". Beyond that I don't see them often.

This is a sign on how things are changing and how human beings are evoluting ... it's akward because years ago everyone got along with their neighbours and there was always a friendship with the neighbours and now we're all isolated even though we live like few steps away from each other ... makes you want to think doesn't it?

From the 10 appartments here, I only know four of my neighbours by name. One of them is my brother, so that doesn't count  but I talk to all my neighbours when I see them, altho it's usually nothing more than just hello or have a nice day.

i used to know everyone in the street in which i grew up and there were quite a lot of gatherings etc, so it was all very friendly. where i live now i know the names of most neighbours, but apart from 'hi how are you' there's not much interaction

bit of both, there can be some truth in it but i dont go around my day wondering when its gonna come true or worrying. It's just fun to see what came true.

No I never believe in mine, unless they say I am to be wrestled by a bunch of sex-starved bikini pageants and then i might cross my fingers!

I do and don't believe in horoscopes. I always read them when I can and there is usually some truth in there, but I just think it's fun (altho sometimse they can be so spot on that it's scary).

all in good fun.  Maybe it's like a placebo... you read it & it may sway your dealings a bit.

Question for Tuesday 13th January

If you had the money, would you prefer to send your children to private school, if so why?

oooh good question , York has 2 of the best private schools in the UK naimly The Mount school for girls & St peters which was just for boys & where Guy Fawlkes went till a couple of years ago when they changed to let girls in too . I know a few who have gone to both schools & done very well for themselves career wize , yet I know others who went to mainstream schools and did just as well
I dont know whether I would send my kids to private school or not to be honest , if I had to make a choice now I'd probably say yes .. just to give them the best chance of having good opportunities to choose from when they left school with hopefully good results
